Eligibility:
• The ItaloWorld Character Design Challenge (the "Challenge") is open to participants worldwide, regardless of

  age, gender, nationality, or professional background.
• Board Members and close associates of ItaloWorld and their family members are not eligible to participate.

Submission guidelines:
• Participants can submit as many designs as they wish.
• A “possible” description of each character is found on our website [link]. You are however, invited to submit

  additional characters.
• Designs can be in 2D, 3D, or animated formats.
• File formats accepted: JPEG, PNG, GIF (for 2D); STL, OBJ, FBX (for 3D); GIF, MP4 (for animated).
• Submissions must be original and not infringe on any copyrights or trademarks.

Submission period:
The submission period begins on Jul 1st, 2025, and ends on Nov 30th, 2025.

Social media posting:
• Participants are encouraged to post their designs on their social media accounts using the hashtag

  #ItaloWorldChallenge so that we may be able to track them.
• By submitting, participants agree to ItaloWorld reposting their designs on our official channels.

Public voting:
• Public voting opens on Dec 1st, 2025, and closes on Jan 31st, 2026. The top entries will be determined by a

  combination of public votes (50%) and expert panel evaluation (50%).

Finalists announcement:
Finalists will be announced on Feb 10th, 2026.

Winners announcement:
• Winners will be announced on Feb 22nd, 2026.
• Winning designs may be featured in ItaloWeek and other promotional materials.

Prizes:
• ItaloWorld is currently seeking sponsors.
• Prizes are non-exchangeable but you may transfer them if you wish.

Rights:
• Participants retain the copyright to their designs.
• By submitting, participants grant ItaloWorld a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display the

  designs for promotional purposes.

Code of conduct:
• Participants must adhere to a code of conduct promoting positive and respectful engagement.
• ItaloWorld reserves the right to disqualify entries or participants for inappropriate content or behaviour.
• Once the votes have been tabulated, ItaloWorld’s decision as to who are the finalists and winners, is final and

  cannot be challenged.

Modifications:
ItaloWorld reserves the right to modify or terminate the Challenge at any time.
